“Dynamic Calm”: The Movements of Buddha

“Dynamic Calm” a solo exhibition by Ye Yong Sen, exhibits over 30 recent works that engages in the heart of Chinese tradition and wonders of Buddhism through the universal language of art.

Ye Yong Sen was born in 1941. He studied at the Beijing Art College, Central Institute of Fine arts and completed school in 1964. He is currently a member of the Chinese Artists Association and executive member of the Chinese Gongbi Painting Institute. In addition, he is the editor of Tianjin People’s Fine Arts Publishing House and the deputy chief editor of Chinese Paintings Artists Journal.

He has engaged in editorial work for the fine arts for numerous years and produces his own works during his leisure time. In recent years, his concentration and research has focused on Chinese paintings regarding to Buddhist art. His work explored the beauty and movements behind Buddha, the religion, culture and traditions.

His work has been exhibited both domestically and internationally. Ye YongSen’s paintings can be found in numerous publications, newspapers and painting collections.
